Display shows COL or COOL, the heater is off, and the spa indicates water is below the acceptable temperature range.
Low Water Temperature / Freeze Protection Active
DR
Display shows DR or DRY, the heater is disabled, and the spa may run pumps but will not heat.
Dry Heater or Insufficient Water in Heater Tube
DY
Display shows DY or DRY Y, spa indicates a dry heater condition and may lock out heating.
Persistent Dry Fire Protection
EC
The display shows EC or ECON. The spa heats only during filter cycles and may not maintain the set temperature.
Economy Heating Mode Enabled
F2
The display shows F2, indicating a filter cycle or flow-related configuration. The spa may run the pump more frequently.
Filter Cycle 2 or Flow Configuration Indicator
FLC
The display shows FLC or FLO flashing intermittently, the heater cycles on and off, and sometimes runs but then reverts to a flow error.
Intermittent Flow Switch Signal
FLO
The display shows FLO or FL, pumps may run briefly then stop, the heater will not turn on, and there may be a blinking heat indicator.
Low or No Water Flow Through Heater
FLO2
The display shows FLO2 or FL2, often associated with a second pump or secondary flow circuit. The heater may shut down.
Secondary Flow Circuit Error
GFCI
The display may go blank; the external GFCI breaker or outlet trips immediately or shortly after the spa is turned on.
Ground Fault or Leakage Current Detected
HL
Display shows HL or HLo, spa stops heating and may shut down pumps intermittently.
High-Limit Trip Due to Localized Overheating
ICE
Display shows ICE or IC, pumps may run automatically even when the spa is not in use.
Freeze Protection Mode
LOC
The display shows LOC or LOCK. Buttons on the topside panel do not respond.
Panel Lock / Child Lock Activated
OH
Display shows OH or OHH, spa shuts down, pumps may run briefly then stop, water feels excessively hot near the heater outlet.
Overheat Condition Detected
OHH
Display shows OHH or HH, spa immediately shuts down the heater and pumps, water may be extremely hot or only warm.
Critical Overheat / High-High Limit Trip
Prr
Display shows PRR or PR. Pumps may run in a priming mode, and the spa may not heat until priming is complete.
Priming Mode / Pump Priming Error
PSo
The display shows PSO or PS. The pump may not start or may shut off quickly after starting.
Pressure Switch Open When Pump Should Be Running
SE
Display shows SE or SEr, the spa may not respond to keypad inputs or may behave erratically.
Sensor or System Error
SLP
The display shows SLP or SL. The spa maintains a lower temperature and heats only during programmed cycles.
Sleep Mode Enabled
SN1
Display shows SN1 or SENS1, spa may not heat or may shut down, and the temperature reading may be erratic.
Primary Temperature Sensor Failure
SN2
Display shows SN2 or SENS2, spa may run but the heater may be disabled or cycle erratically.
High-Limit or Secondary Sensor Failure
Symptom
Air blower does not turn on or shuts off quickly after starting.
Air Blower Failure or Overheat
Symptom
Display is dim, flickering, or unreadable, but spa still runs.
Display Backlight or LCD Failure
Symptom
High-pitched whining or grinding noise from pump area during operation.
Worn Pump Bearings or Cavitation
Symptom
Jets are weak or have very little pressure, even though the pump is running.
Low Jet Pressure
Symptom
Ozone indicator is on but no bubbles are visible from the ozone injector.
Ozonator or Injector Failure
Symptom
Pump hums but does not start, or trips the breaker when trying to start.
Pump Motor Seized or Start Circuit Failure
Symptom
Spa light does not turn on, but all other functions work.
Spa Light Circuit Failure
Symptom
Spa trips breaker only when a specific pump or function is activated.
Shorted Component or Overload on Specific Circuit

The spa does not heat; water stays at or near ambient temperature, but pumps and jets work normally.
