How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the multicooker and allow it to cool fully. Do not touch internal metal parts while hot.
- Check for misuse: Confirm that the inner pot was installed and that there was food or liquid inside. Running the cooker empty can cause overtemperature errors.
- Inspect for spills: Remove the inner pot and check for liquid spills around the central sensor and heater plate. Wipe dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth.
- Air dry: Leave the lid open and the cooker unplugged for several hours to allow any internal moisture to evaporate.
- Retry operation: After drying, reinstall the pot with proper contents and try a low-temperature program. If E3 appears immediately, proceed to internal checks.
- Internal inspection (advanced): Remove the bottom cover. Inspect the NTC sensor wiring for melted insulation or bare wires touching the chassis or each other. Separate and insulate with high-temperature sleeving if needed.
- If the wiring is intact but E3 persists, the NTC sensor may be shorted or the main control PCB may be faulty. Replace the sensor first; if the issue remains, seek professional board-level service.
