Display shows “ASH” or an ash clean reminder; the grill may prompt for cleaning after several hours of use.
Ash Cleanout Reminder
AUGER
Display shows “AUGER” or auger error; pellets do not feed and the grill will not maintain temperature.
Auger Feed System Fault
ERR
Control panel displays “ERR” and the grill will not start or respond to button presses.
General Control System Error
FAN
Display shows “FAN” or fan error; the grill shuts down or will not start the ignition cycle.
Combustion Fan Failure
FLAME
Display shows “FLAME” or “FLAME OUT” and the grill stops feeding pellets and cools down.
Flame-Out Condition
FUSE
Display shows “FUSE” or the grill is completely dead and the internal fuse is blown repeatedly.
Blown Internal Fuse / Short Circuit
HERR
Display shows “HERR” or high temperature error; the grill overshoots the set temperature and then shuts down.
Over-Temperature Condition
HOP
Display shows “HOP” or a hopper error; the grill indicates a pellet feed issue.

IGN
Display shows “IGN” or ignition error; pellets feed but never ignite, and the grill times out.

LERR
Display shows “LERR” or low temperature error; the grill cannot reach or maintain the set temperature and may shut down.
Low-Temperature / Failure-to-Reach-Setpoint Fault
P-ERR
Display shows “P-ERR” or P-setting error; the grill temperature swings widely and the controller seems unresponsive to P-setting changes.
P-Setting Configuration Fault
P1
Controller shows “P1” P-setting; the grill runs very hot and recovers temperature quickly but may overshoot.
Aggressive Pellet Feed Timing (User Setting)

Controller shows “P7” P-setting; the grill struggles to maintain temperature, especially in cold or windy weather.
