Broken louver linkage, failed stepper motor, obstruction in the louver path, faulty louver control on the PCB.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before touching the louvers.
- Remove obstruction: Check for objects or heavy dust preventing louver movement. Clean and remove debris.
- Manual movement: Gently move the louvers by hand. If they are stiff or jammed, inspect side pivots and link arms.
- Access motor: Remove the front cover to access the louver motor. Check that the motor connector is secure.
- Replace faulty parts: If the motor does not operate when swing is selected, replace the AEG louver motor and linkage assembly.
