Possible Causes
Clogged rooftop drain channels, Compressed or deteriorated Coleman-Mach roof gasket, Unit not tightened evenly to roof, Excessive condensate from high humidity
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect RV power and use caution on the roof.
- Inspect roof gasket: From the roof, check the foam gasket under the Coleman-Mach unit for deterioration or gaps.
- Tighten mounting bolts: From inside, slightly tighten the four mounting bolts evenly to compress the gasket (do not overtighten; follow Coleman torque specs).
- Clear drain channels: Clean any debris from the rooftop drain channels or weep holes that allow condensate to exit.
- Replace gasket: If the gasket is crushed or damaged, lift the unit (with assistance) and install a new Coleman-Mach roof gasket.
Note: Periodic gasket inspection is recommended to prevent leaks.
