Safety: Turn off system fan before entering attic or crawlspace to inspect ducts.

Steps:

• Check registers: Open all supply and return registers fully and remove obstructions.
• Inspect ducts: Look for disconnected or crushed ducts on Comfortmaker system trunk lines.
• Seal leaks: Use mastic or UL-181 foil tape to seal visible duct leaks.
• Balance dampers: Adjust manual dampers (if present) to direct more air to warm rooms.
