Luxaire Air Conditioners Error Codes

E1

The Luxaire split or package AC displays E1 and stops cooling; the indoor fan may still run, but the compressor does not start.

High Pressure Protection / High Discharge Pressure

E2

The Luxaire air conditioner shows E2 and shuts down or cycles frequently; it may run briefly then stop.

Low Pressure Protection / Loss of Refrigerant Charge

E3

The Luxaire AC displays E3; the compressor may not start or may shut off quickly after starting.

Compressor Overload / Overcurrent Protection

E4

The Luxaire air conditioner shows E4 and stops; it may be accompanied by frost on the indoor coil or very low airflow.

Evaporator Coil Freeze Protection / Low Evaporator Temperature

E5

The Luxaire AC shows E5; the unit may not respond to thermostat commands or may shut down unexpectedly.

Communication Error Between Indoor and Outdoor PCB

The Luxaire air conditioner displays E6; the system may run but with poor temperature control or may shut down intermittently.

Indoor/Outdoor Mismatch or Configuration Error
