Royal Clima
Insufficient Cooling Capacity / Performance Degradation
Poor cooling performance: the room does not reach the set temperature, run times are long, and the air is weakly cold.

Possible Causes
Dirty indoor filters and evaporator coil, dirty outdoor condenser coil, low refrigerant charge due to a leak, or an undersized Royal Clima unit for the room size.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the power before cleaning coils or filters.
- Step 1 – Clean indoor filters and coil: Wash the filters and gently clean the evaporator fins with a soft brush or coil cleaner.
- Step 2 – Clean outdoor condenser: Remove debris and wash the fins from the inside out with low-pressure water.
- Step 3 – Check temperature settings: Set the thermostat to 22–24°C in COOL mode and medium fan speed. Ensure doors and windows are closed.
- Step 4 – Check for heat sources: Reduce internal heat loads (sunlight, ovens, many people) that may exceed the unit’s capacity.
When to call a technician: If performance remains poor after cleaning and optimizing usage, a refrigerant leak or mechanical fault is likely and requires professional service.
