Display shows E5 and the air fryer will not start or stops mid-cycle; sometimes occurs when plugging into certain outlets.

Steps to address E5:

• Check the outlet: Plug the air fryer into a different, known-good wall socket without extension leads or multi-plugs. Avoid sharing the circuit with heavy appliances.
• Inspect the power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, burn marks, or loose pins on the plug. If any damage is visible, the power cord set must be replaced.
• Avoid unstable power sources: Do not use with undersized generators or inverters that may cause voltage fluctuations.
• Internal inspection: If E5 persists on multiple outlets, remove the housing to access the main control PCB and any separate filter/surge board. Look for swollen capacitors, burnt components, or discoloured areas.
• Check connectors: Ensure the mains input connector and any inline filter board connections are firmly seated.
• Component-level repair: For most users, replacing the entire main control PCB or power filter board is safer than attempting component-level repair.
