Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before any internal work.
Operational checks:
- Remove and firmly reinsert the basket and pan. Make sure they are oriented correctly and pushed all the way in.
- Try different cooking modes and times to see if any program will start.
- Check the display for any small lock or key icon indicating a child lock feature; consult the Bella manual to disable it if present.
Hardware checks:
- Inspect the basket safety switch as described in the E10 scenario. If the switch does not click or show continuity when pressed, replace it.
- Access the control panel and verify that the Start button area on the touch panel is not cracked or heavily contaminated with grease.
- Reseat the ribbon cable between the touch panel and the main PCB.
If the safety switch is good and the panel appears intact but the unit still will not start, the touch panel assembly or main control PCB may need replacement.
