Possible Causes

Failed heating element, Open thermal fuse on heater assembly, Burned heater relay contacts on control PCB, Loose heater wiring connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug and allow the unit to cool before accessing internal parts.

Steps to troubleshoot no-heat condition:

  • Confirm fan operation: Start a cycle and listen for the fan. If the fan runs but there is no warmth after several minutes, the heater circuit is suspect.
  • Visual check of element: Look at the heating element inside the cavity for visible breaks or heavy burn spots.
  • Access heater wiring: Remove the bottom cover to reach the heater terminals and wiring harness.
  • Check connections: Ensure the heater wires are firmly attached to the element and control board. Tighten or replace any loose or burned connectors.
  • Test element and thermal fuse: Disconnect one heater lead and measure resistance across the element; replace if open. Locate the thermal fuse on or near the heater bracket and test for continuity; replace if open.
  • Inspect heater relay: On the control PCB, identify the heater relay. Look for heat damage or cracked solder joints. If the relay is not switching (you may not hear a click), the board may need replacement.

Note: After replacing heater components, run a short test cycle without food to verify proper heating.
