Possible Causes
Open heating element, Blown thermal fuse in heater circuit, Failed heater relay on control board, Loose heater wiring connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool fully. Internal heater wiring carries dangerous voltage.
- Confirm symptom: Start a short cycle and check if the fan runs but no heat is felt at the exhaust after 2–3 minutes. Then unplug.
- Visual check: Remove the basket and inspect the heating element for breaks, sagging, or burn marks.
- Access heater wiring: Remove the rear or bottom cover to expose the heating element terminals, thermal fuse, and wiring.
- Check connections: Ensure all spade terminals are tight and not discolored. Reseat any loose connectors.
- Test element and fuse: With a multimeter, test continuity across the heating element and the inline thermal fuse. Replace any open component with a matching Gourmia-rated part.
- Control board check: If the heater and fuse are good but no voltage is supplied during operation, the heater relay on the main control board is likely faulty and the board should be replaced.
