How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the air fryer from power before opening the housing.
- Hard reset: Unplug the Gourmia air fryer for at least 10 minutes. Press and hold the main power/start button for 10 seconds while unplugged to discharge internal capacitors, then plug back in.
- Check outlet stability: Avoid outlets that frequently lose power or flicker. Plug into a stable, grounded outlet.
- Inspect control connections: Remove the top/front cover to access the main control board and display board. Reseat all connectors, especially the ribbon cable between the display and main board.
- Look for board damage: Examine the main control board for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or moisture damage. If present, the board should be replaced.
- Replace main control board: If EO persists after reseating connectors and power cycling, install a new main control board compatible with your Gourmia model.
