Buttons on the touch panel do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before working on the control panel.

Steps to restore button function:

• 1. Clean the surface: Wipe the touch control panel with a dry cloth to remove grease and moisture.
• 2. Dry out moisture: If the panel was exposed to steam or spills, leave the unit unplugged in a dry area for 24 hours.
• 3. Reseat ribbon cable: Open the housing and reseat the keypad ribbon cable on both the panel and main PCB.
• 4. Panel replacement: If specific buttons never work, replace the touch control panel assembly.
• 5. Control PCB: If no buttons respond at all, the main control PCB may be defective and require replacement.
