Basket is difficult to insert or remove; may stick or jam.

Safety first: Allow the unit to cool before forcing the basket.

Cleaning and inspection:

• Remove the basket and pan; clean all contact surfaces and rails thoroughly.
• Inspect the rails inside the cavity for bends or damage.
• Check the basket frame for warping or deformation.

Repair:

• Straighten minor rail bends carefully with pliers.
• Replace a severely warped basket and pan assembly with a genuine T-fal replacement.
• Inspect and replace a damaged basket latch if it prevents smooth insertion.
