User checks:

• Set the air fryer to maximum temperature and listen for the fan. If the fan runs but no heat is felt at the exhaust after a few minutes, the heater circuit is likely open.

Internal checks (experienced users):

• Access the heater assembly and inspect the coil for breaks or burn marks.
• Check the wiring from the main board to the heater for loose or burnt connectors.
• Locate and test the thermal fuse in series with the heater; replace if open.
• If the heater and fuse are good, test for voltage at the heater terminals when the unit is calling for heat. No voltage indicates a failed relay or main board.

Replace the heating element assembly or thermal fuse as needed. If the main board is not switching power to a good heater, replace the main control board.
