Possible Causes
Defective flue fan motor on Fondital boiler, Blocked fan impeller, Faulty fan speed feedback (tachometer) signal, Wiring fault between the fan and main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch off the boiler and isolate it from the mains. Do not remove the combustion cover.
User checks:
- Flue outlet: Confirm the external flue terminal is clear of obstructions.
- Reset: Try a single reset. If A07 reappears, professional diagnosis is required.
Technician actions:
- Measure the supply voltage to the fan motor and check its current draw.
- Inspect the fan impeller for dirt or foreign objects and clean or replace as needed.
- Verify the fan speed sensor / tachometer signal to the main PCB.
- Check the wiring harness and connectors between the fan and the Fondital main PCB.
