Boiler displays F8 and may indicate 'Condensate Fault'.

Safety first: Turn off power. Condensate is mildly acidic; wear gloves and eye protection.

Steps:

• Locate condensate trap: On condensing Peerless boilers, find the plastic trap at the bottom of the heat exchanger or flue collector.
• Clean trap: Remove the trap and flush it with clean water to remove sludge and debris.
• Inspect hoses: Ensure condensate hoses are not kinked and slope continuously to the drain.
• Check condensate pump: If a pump is used, verify it runs and discharges water. Clean or replace if stuck.
• Reassemble and test: Reinstall the trap, restore power, and reset the boiler.
