Possible Causes
Faulty NTC flow sensor, loose sensor connection, scale build-up in the primary heat exchanger, pump not circulating.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before accessing internal components. Water may be hot and under pressure.
- Visual check: Inspect the pressure gauge and ensure system pressure is correct (around 1.0–1.5 bar when cold).
- Reset boiler: After cooling, reset the boiler and observe if the temperature climbs abnormally fast.
- Engineer tasks:
- Check the resistance of the flow NTC sensor at various temperatures and compare it with Vokera charts.
- Inspect the wiring harness from the sensor to the PCB for damage or loose plugs.
- Verify pump operation and ensure that isolation valves are open.
- Check for scale or sludge restricting the primary heat exchanger.
Do not bypass sensors. Replace the NTC if readings are out of specification.
