Safety first: This is typically a user-level setting; no internal repair is needed unless the lock cannot be cleared.

• 1. Disable child lock
  • Refer to the Bosch user manual; usually, press and hold a specific button combination (e.g., "Mode" + "Power") for 3–5 seconds.
  • Wait for the padlock icon to disappear.
• 2. Check for stuck buttons
  • Press each button on the control panel several times.
  • If any button feels stuck or does not click, clean around it with a soft cloth; avoid liquid cleaners.
• 3. Power reset
  • Unplug the unit for 5 minutes to allow the control PCB to reset.
  • Plug it back in and check if E13 is cleared.
• 4. Panel or PCB replacement
  • If the lock cannot be disabled and buttons test faulty, replace the control panel keypad or the main control PCB as per the Bosch parts list.
