Foam builds up in the dirty water tank, and suction becomes noisy or intermittent.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening the dirty water tank.

• 1. Empty and rinse tank
  • Remove the dirty water tank and empty all contents.
  • Rinse thoroughly to remove foam and detergent residue.
• 2. Clean foam baffle
  • Locate the foam baffle or screen inside the tank lid.
  • Clean it under running water and ensure it is correctly positioned.
• 3. Adjust detergent use
  • Use only Bosch-approved carpet cleaning solution.
  • Measure detergent according to instructions; do not exceed the recommended concentration.
• 4. Use defoamer if needed
  • For high-foam situations, add a small amount of defoamer to the dirty water tank as per Bosch guidelines.
