Possible Causes

Cracked solution tank outlet, loose hose clamp on solution line, split solution hose, leaking pump seal.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug immediately if you suspect internal leaks. Water inside the base can contact live parts.

  • Remove tanks and inspect:
    • Take out the clean solution and recovery tanks.
    • Look for pooled water in the base tray or around the pump area.
  • Check solution tank outlet:
    • Inspect the outlet valve and seal on the bottom of the solution tank.
    • Replace the solution tank outlet seal or tank if cracked.
  • Inspect solution hoses and clamps:
    • Trace the solution hose from tank to pump and pump to wand.
    • Tighten any loose hose clamps and replace split solution hoses.
  • Check pump body:
    • Examine the pump for leaks around the casing or shaft.
    • If leaking, replace the solution pump assembly.
  • Dry and reset:
    • Dry the base thoroughly before reassembly.
    • If fitted, reset or dry the leak sensor area.
