Display shows E17; the machine will not run when the recovery tank is removed.

Safety: Unplug before working near interlock switches.

• Check tank alignment:
  • Refit the recovery tank, ensuring it slides fully into place.
  • Press down gently to engage the interlock.
• Inspect actuator tab:
  • Look for the plastic tab or protrusion on the tank that presses the interlock switch.
  • If broken, replace the recovery tank or repair the tab if possible.
• Test interlock switch:
  • Access the switch in the base.
  • Press it manually and test continuity with a multimeter.
  • Replace the tank interlock switch if faulty.
