Possible Causes
Worn solution tank outlet seal, cracked solution tank body, stuck spring-loaded tank valve, loose hose clamp at the tank outlet.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the solution tank. Work over a sink or tray.
- Inspect tank outlet: Turn the tank upside down and examine the outlet valve and rubber seal. Look for cracks, flattening, or debris preventing full closure.
- Clean and reseat seal: Remove the rubber seal (if removable), rinse it, and clean the valve seat. Reinstall firmly.
- Check for cracks: Fill the tank with water and set it on a dry towel off the machine. If water seeps from seams or the outlet area, the tank may be cracked and should be replaced.
- Inspect hose connection: On the machine, check the hose and clamp at the tank receiver. Tighten or replace the clamp if the hose is loose.
