Excessive Brush / Nozzle Drag
The carpet cleaner is very hard to push on the carpet; it feels like it is sticking.

Possible Causes
Brush height set too low, warped or rough nozzle edge, build-up of dried detergent on the base, worn or seized wheels.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before inspecting the base.
- Adjust height (if available): Set the brush height to a higher setting for thick or deep-pile carpets.
- Clean base and nozzle: Wipe the underside of the nozzle and base with a damp cloth to remove dried detergent and dirt.
- Inspect wheels: Check that all wheels rotate freely. Remove hair and debris from axles. Replace wheels if seized or damaged.
- Check nozzle edge: Ensure the front lip of the nozzle is smooth and not bent inward. Replace the nozzle if it is deformed.
