Possible Causes
Airlock in the single-serve water line, Clogged upper or lower needle, Failed single-serve pump, Blocked internal check valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the coffee maker before cleaning the needles.
Clear Needles and Airlock:
- Remove the single-serve pod holder.
- Use a straightened paper clip to gently clear the upper piercing needle and the lower exit needle of coffee grounds.
- Fill the reservoir and run a brew cycle with no pod to flush air and debris.
Prime the Pump:
- On some models, you can run 2–3 consecutive water-only cycles to help prime the pump.
If E3 persists and no water moves, the pump or internal valve may be defective and require replacement.
