Brew basket does not stay in place or falls out easily

Safety: Unplug the unit before inspecting structural components.

• Inspect mounting points: Remove the brew basket and examine the rails, hooks, or tabs on both the basket and the machine body for cracks or wear.
• Check for deformation: Look for warping of the plastic basket that prevents proper engagement with the support rails.
• Replace worn parts: If the basket itself is damaged, replace the brew basket. If the support bracket on the machine is broken, replace the bracket assembly if available as a spare part.
• Avoid overloading: Do not overfill the basket with coffee or water, as excess weight can stress the support mechanism.
