Safety first: Unplug the machine and be cautious of sharp needles.

Inspection and cleaning:

• Open the lever and remove any capsule.
• Inspect the piercing needles for damage or bending.
• Clean the capsule chamber and needles with a soft brush and damp cloth.
• Check the brew head gasket for wear or deformation; replace if flattened or cracked.

If needles are broken or severely bent, replace the brew head or needle plate assembly.
