Charger LED flashes, and vacuum battery LEDs blink an E6 pattern; the battery will not charge.

Safety first: Do not attempt to charge a battery that is very hot, swollen, or physically damaged. Risk of fire.

• 1. Normalize temperature: If the vacuum or battery has just been used heavily, allow it to cool at room temperature (20–25°C) for at least one hour before charging. Do not place it in a fridge or near a heater.
• 2. Inspect the battery: Remove the battery and check for swelling, cracks, or leakage. If any damage is present, do not use it; replace the battery pack.
• 3. Try a different outlet: Plug the Candy charger into a different wall socket to rule out supply issues. Avoid using extension leads.
• 4. Check ambient conditions: Charge only within the temperature range specified in the manual (typically 5–35°C). Charging in a cold garage or hot conservatory can trigger the E6 error.
• 5. Persistent E6: If the error persists even at normal room temperature and with a visually good battery, the internal temperature sensor or charger circuitry may be faulty. First, replace the battery pack; if the issue persists, the charger should be replaced. If still unresolved, the main body charging PCB may require service.
