Possible Causes
High internal resistance in aged cells, Poor contact between cells and BMS, Corroded battery terminals, BMS prematurely cutting off due to voltage drop
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the battery to cool before testing again.
- Step 1 – ECO mode test: Run the vacuum on the lowest power setting and time the runtime. If it still stops quickly, the battery is failing.
- Step 2 – Check contacts: Clean battery and vacuum contacts with a dry cloth.
This symptom almost always indicates a worn-out battery pack. Replace the battery with a genuine Cecotec replacement.
