Possible Causes

Worn or broken trigger microswitch, Stuck trigger mechanism due to dust ingress, Broken internal lever between trigger and switch, Disconnected trigger wiring harness

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before manipulating the trigger or opening the handle.

  • Step 1 – Check trigger movement: Squeeze and release the trigger repeatedly. It should move freely and return by spring action. If it feels stuck, gently tap around the handle to dislodge dust.
  • Step 2 – Inspect for cracks: Look closely at the trigger plastic. If cracked, it may not actuate the internal switch.
  • Step 3 – Temporary workaround (if available): Some Cecotec models have a continuous ON button separate from the trigger. Try using that to see if the vacuum powers up.

Persistent E11 usually means the internal trigger switch or its wiring has failed. Replacing the handle assembly or microswitch requires disassembly and is best done by a technician.
