Vacuum does not charge when placed on the charging dock, but the dock LED is on.

Safety first: Unplug the charging dock before cleaning contacts.

• Clean contacts: Wipe the metal contacts on both the charging dock and the vacuum with a dry cloth. For light corrosion, gently rub them with a pencil eraser.
• Check alignment: Ensure the vacuum is seated correctly on the charging dock and that the contacts touch firmly.
• Inspect springs: On the charging dock, verify that spring-loaded pins move freely and are not stuck.
• Test with direct charger (if available): If your model supports direct plug-in charging, try using that method. If it works, the charging dock is faulty and should be replaced.
