Main power switch feels loose, sticks, or does not stay in position.

Safety first: Remove the battery before working on the switch or opening the housing.

• 1. External check: Move the switch through all positions. If it does not click positively or returns to OFF by itself, internal wear is likely.
• 2. Open housing: Access the switch and inspect the actuator and mounting. Ensure the switch body is firmly secured.
• 3. Replace switch: Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness and install a new Festool-compatible main power switch. Do not attempt to lubricate or repair the internal contacts.
• 4. Reassemble and test: Reassemble the housing, reinstall the battery, and verify proper switch operation.
