Static shocks are felt when touching the vacuum or hose during operation.

Safety first: Static shocks are usually not dangerous but can be uncomfortable. Ensure no flammable dust or vapors are present.

• Use antistatic hose: If available for your Hilti model, use an antistatic hose designed to dissipate charge.
• Improve grounding: Ensure the vacuum is placed on a conductive surface connected to ground when possible.
• Increase humidity: In very dry environments, slightly increasing humidity can reduce static build-up.
• Do not modify wiring: Never attach makeshift ground wires to internal electrical parts.
