Possible Causes
Cracked or loose hose, damaged hose cuff or connection, leaking tank or dust container seal, partially blocked fan or inlet.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting for cracks or leaks.
- Inspect hose: Flex the Hilti hose along its length while blocking the end with your hand during operation (briefly, with battery installed). Listen for hissing indicating leaks. Replace the hose if cracked.
- Check hose connections: Ensure the hose is fully inserted and locked into the inlet and accessories.
- Inspect container seals: Check the lid gasket and any container seals for damage or misalignment. Replace worn gaskets.
- Check for internal blockage: Remove the hose and look into the inlet and around the filter cage for debris restricting airflow.
