The display shows CHG or the battery icon flashes, and the vacuum will not run until charged.

Safety: Use only the original or Hoover-approved charger.

• Charge fully: Place the vacuum or removable battery on the charger and leave until the battery LEDs indicate full charge (typically 3–5 hours).
• Avoid partial charges: Frequent very short charges can reduce runtime. Allow the pack to charge fully.
• Check charger function: Ensure the charger LED is on. If no lights appear, test another outlet or replace the charger.
• Battery health: If runtime remains very short even after a full charge, the battery pack may be worn and should be replaced.
