The vacuum makes a chirping or squealing noise from the brush head.

Safety: Power off the vacuum and disconnect it from the charger.

• Step 1 – Remove Brushroll: Detach the floor head, open the cover, and remove the brushroll.
• Step 2 – Clean End Caps: Remove hair and dust from the end caps and bearing areas.
• Step 3 – Lubricate Lightly: If the design allows, apply a tiny amount of light machine oil to metal bearings. Do not over-lubricate or get oil on the bristles or belt surfaces.
• Step 4 – Replace if Worn: If the bearings are oval, cracked, or still squeal after cleaning, replace the brushroll assembly.
