Possible Causes

overheated battery pack, faulty NTC temperature sensor inside battery, poor thermal contact between cells and sensor, defective battery pack PCB.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: If the battery feels hot, remove it carefully and place it on a non-flammable surface away from flammable materials.

  • 1. Allow cooling: Let the battery cool to room temperature (20–25°C) for at least 1 hour. Do not place it in a refrigerator or freezer.
  • 2. Check usage conditions: Avoid using turbo mode continuously on thick carpets, which can overheat the pack.
  • 3. Retest after cooling: Reinstall the battery and power on. If E14 clears, monitor for recurrence. Frequent overheating suggests battery aging.
  • 4. Test with another battery (if available): If a second battery works normally, the original pack's temperature sensor or PCB is faulty, and the pack should be replaced.
  • 5. Persistent E14 with all batteries: The vacuum's battery temperature reading circuit on the main PCB may be defective and requires service.
