Possible Causes
Recently overcharged battery pack, non-original charger used, faulty Parkside charger output, battery BMS detecting unsafe voltage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Stop using any non-original charger immediately. Do not use or charge a battery that is hot, swollen, or leaking.
- Allow to rest: Remove the battery from the charger and let it sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
- Use original charger: Recharge only with the correct Parkside charger model. Observe the charger LEDs for normal behavior.
- Test on another tool: If you have another Parkside cordless tool compatible with the same battery, test the pack there. If it also shows an error, the battery is faulty.
- Replace charger: If multiple batteries show B1 only after using a specific charger, replace that charger.
- Do not open pack: If B1 persists, replace the battery pack; internal BMS or cells may be damaged.
