Possible Causes
Clogged pre-motor filter, clogged HEPA/post-motor filter, dust sensor detecting restricted airflow, wet filter installed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery. Never operate the vacuum with wet filters installed.
- Remove filters: Take out the pre-motor filter (usually foam or mesh) and the HEPA/post-motor filter.
- Dry cleaning: Gently tap filters over a trash can to remove loose dust. Use a soft brush to clean the filter frame.
- Wash if allowed: If the manual states that the filters are washable, rinse them under cold water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergents. Gently squeeze out excess water.
- Dry completely: Air-dry filters for at least 24 hours until they are completely dry. Reinstall only when no moisture remains.
- Replace if old: If filters are deformed, torn, or heavily stained, replace them with a genuine Roborock Filter Set.
