Possible Causes
Dirty or damp filters, dustbin not cleaned regularly, suction of moist debris, bacterial growth in cyclone or bin
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery. Avoid using harsh chemicals on plastic parts.
- Empty and wash bin: Remove the dustbin and wash it with mild soap and water. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clean cyclone: If removable, rinse the cyclone assembly with water (if allowed by the manual) and let it dry fully.
- Wash or replace filters: Clean washable filters thoroughly and allow them to dry for 24 hours. Replace non-washable filters with new ones.
- Avoid wet debris: Do not vacuum liquids or very damp material. This can cause odors and damage.
