Possible Causes
Foreign object lodged in motor fan, Severely clogged cyclone causing motor stall, Damaged motor bearings, Deformed fan impeller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack and ensure the unit is completely powered off.
- Detach the dust bin and cyclone assembly to access the motor inlet.
- Use a flashlight to look into the motor inlet for foreign objects (small toys, stones, large debris). Do not insert metal tools into the motor.
- Use a plastic tool or wooden stick to gently dislodge any visible obstruction.
- Check that the cyclone and bin seals are intact and not collapsed into the airflow path.
- Reassemble and test on low power first. If the motor makes grinding noises or E3 returns immediately, the main motor assembly or fan impeller is likely damaged and should be replaced as a unit.
