The vacuum spits debris back out of the floorhead when pulled backwards.

Safety first: Turn off and remove the battery.

Improve retention:

• Inspect the front rubber lip or seal on the floorhead for tears or deformation. Replace the floorhead if the seal is badly worn.
• Clean the suction channel behind the brushroll to ensure smooth airflow.
• Verify that the brushroll spins freely and at full speed.
• Use the correct floorhead setting for the floor type; on some models, a hard floor setting may reduce debris throwback.

Warning: Do not remove the front seal permanently; it is essential for proper pickup.
