Possible Causes

Faulty charging dock contacts, Damaged dock power adapter, Dirty contacts on the vacuum or dock, Internal charging circuit failure in the dock

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dock from the mains before cleaning contacts.

  • Verify wall power: Check that the outlet works by plugging in another device.
  • Inspect power adapter: Ensure the adapter is firmly plugged into the dock and the outlet. Look for damage to the cord.
  • Clean contacts: Wipe the metal contacts on the dock and the vacuum/battery with a dry cloth.
  • Test battery on standard charger: Charge the Ryobi ONE+ battery on a standard Ryobi charger. If it charges there, the dock is faulty.

Dock charging issues usually require replacement of the dock or its power adapter.
