Possible Causes
Clogged pre-motor filter, Saturated HEPA filter, Dust build-up in cyclone and bin, Use without filter installed previously
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before cleaning.
Clean the dust bin and cyclone:
- Empty the bin and wash it with mild soapy water if the manual allows. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe the cyclone shroud with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Service the filters:
- Tap dust from the pre-motor and HEPA filters outdoors.
- Rinse washable filters in lukewarm water only and air-dry for 24 hours.
Reassemble once everything is completely dry. If odour persists, replace the HEPA filter and consider using a new pre-motor filter as well.
