Sencor Full Dust Container / Blocked Dust Sensor

The display shows "FL," and suction is significantly reduced; the vacuum may pulse on and off.

Possible Causes

Dust bin filled beyond MAX line, dust level sensor window blocked, cyclone assembly clogged, fine dust packed around the sensor in the Sencor dust container.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before cleaning the dust container.

  • Empty dust bin: Detach and empty the dust container completely.
  • Clean sensor area: Locate the dust level sensor window or optical sensor (if your Sencor model has one) inside the bin or cyclone area. Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth.
  • Clean cyclone: Remove the cyclone assembly and tap out dust. Use a soft brush to clear the cyclone holes.
  • Reassemble: Refit all components securely and test. If "FL" still appears with an empty bin, the sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
