The dust bin will not latch closed or pops open during use.

Safety first: Remove the battery before working on the dust bin.

• 1. Clean latch area: Remove any dust or debris from the latch and hinge using a dry cloth or soft brush.
• 2. Inspect latch hook: Check for broken or worn plastic where the latch engages. Ensure the latch moves freely and springs back.
• 3. Check hinge: Look for cracks around the hinge pins of the bin flap.

If the bin cannot stay securely closed, replace the Swan Dust Bin / Dirt Container Assembly.
