B2
Swan Battery Pack Lockout / Deep Discharge Protection

All battery LEDs flash together, and the vacuum will not start, often after storage.

Possible Causes

Battery voltage dropped below safe threshold during long storage, BMS locked to prevent charging, battery stored fully discharged

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Inspect the battery for swelling or damage before charging.

  • 1. Attempt standard charge: Place the battery on the original Swan charger for at least 4 hours. Some packs will slowly recover enough to exit lockout.
  • 2. Check charger LED behavior: If the charger LED remains off or flashes an error, the BMS may not allow charging.
  • 3. Try a second charger (if available): Rule out a faulty charger.

If the battery remains in lockout and will not accept a charge, replace the Swan cordless vacuum battery pack. Do not attempt to bypass the BMS or use non-approved chargers.
