Possible Causes
HEPA cartridge clogged with fine dust, Filter washed too often or incorrectly, Non-genuine HEPA filter with high resistance, Filter installed backwards or not seated
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before accessing the HEPA filter.
- 1. Access HEPA filter: Open the rear or top filter cover (varies by TCL model) and remove the HEPA/post-motor filter cartridge.
- 2. Clean gently: Tap the filter against a trash can to dislodge dust. Do not use sharp tools that could puncture the media.
- 3. Washing (if allowed): Only if TCL specifies the HEPA as washable, rinse with lukewarm water from the clean side out. Do not scrub. Let it air-dry for 24–48 hours.
- 4. Reinstall correctly: Ensure the filter is oriented correctly and the cover is fully latched to prevent bypass leaks.
Replace when needed: If F2 persists or the filter looks discolored and restricted, replace with a genuine TCL HEPA/post-motor filter. Running with a blocked HEPA can overheat the motor.
