Possible Causes
Dirty pre-motor filter, Saturated HEPA filter, Dust buildup in cyclone and bin, Storage with debris left in bin
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning filters. Do not use the vacuum without filters installed.
- Step 1 – Empty and wash bin: Remove the dust bin and wash it with mild detergent and warm water. Dry completely before refitting.
- Step 2 – Clean or replace filters: Wash washable filters as per the Tower manual and allow them to dry for at least 24 hours. Replace non‑washable HEPA filters with a genuine Tower HEPA filter cartridge if they smell or appear discoloured.
- Step 3 – Clean cyclone surfaces: Wipe accessible cyclone parts with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Step 4 – Regular maintenance: Clean filters every 1–3 months depending on usage to prevent odours.
